Boys and Girls Variety Snag First Place

The Girl Varsity came in first place overall. The Girls Varsities record is one hundred and twenty wins and seventeen losses.

The Boys Varsity also came in first place overall. There are one hundred and thirty four wins and twelve losses for the Boys Varsity.

The PHS track team is undefeated against Mississippi teams.

The top seven runners are Aden Maddox, Chris Gates, Tony Mack, Cameron Bell, Wyn Grantham, Matthew Schuler, Daniel Duran. The Girls Varsity top seven runners are Hannah Pinter, Claire Pinter, Grace Massey, Daeja Davis, Cheri Bishop, Emily Self, and Anna Crane.

Aden Maddox and Hannah Pinter are the first place runners for the boys and girls varsity team.

The shortest time for the Girls Varsity is twenty 20:25.

The Boys Varsity top time is 17:20.

The longest timed run for the Boys Varsity is 18:43. The longest timed run for the Girls Varsity is 22:44.

The head track and field/cross country coach is Chris Barnett. “ I believe that we’ve had a strong season this year and looking forward to our upcoming Region and State Meet. There is some very tough competition in 6A, and we look forward to our kids stepping up these last two meets,” Barnett said.
